Scorchscape is an indie animated webseries being created and cataloged by the animator Extellus. Schorchscape is a post apocolyptic style series that has the art style of a demented Adventure Time mashed together with Mad Max. Wild and simplistic character designs on a desert world racing across the desolate roads and searching for resources and important treasures in this bleak landscape.

Add in the 80’s style music and fuzzy VHS overlays to make the show seem like an old recording and you have a very distinct and unique looking web series that I feel not enough people are talking about. But the real bread and butter for me on Extellus’ art style are their AWESOME backgrounds. The colors and shapes are sharp and they block out a fun and captivating world for the very cartoony characters to interact with.
