This week it’s a solo episode where I talk about the news that’s happened including a new season of Infinity Train and the huge announcement that Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino are now heads of Nickelodeons Avatar Studios! A new studio dedicated to creating content in the Last Airbender Universe.

2020 was one CRAZY year but there was plenty of great animation so we’re here to talk about all the best things that came out this past year. This is always one of my favorite episodes to do and this one is no different. Have a good time and try to guess what the best movies, series, anime and all that stuff. Toon in now!

The legendary Genndy Tartakovsky’s latest Adult Swim show Primal is a visceral, emotional and spectacular ride that leaves you on a note wanting SO much more. I’ve never experienced a series that has expanded a world and had a call to adventure in such a short amount of time. All with very little voice acting at all. A nearly silent completely violent masterpiece.

And with a sudden burst the Carmen Sandiego animated series on Netflix has come to an end! We didn’t cover season 3 yet because it’s kind of hard to talk about 5 episodes. Not sure why they split these final 13 episodes up into two seasons but here we are. With the live action movie on it’s way let’s celebrate the finale of Carmen Sandiego!

Hilda exploded onto Netflix back in 2018 and it quickly became one of my favorite shows. Well fast forward 2 years later and it’s back with an even better season with more dives into the main character and one of the best episodes of any show I’ve ever seen. I’m not kidding. Let’s talk Hilda Season 2!

The Promised Neverland is a hit manga series and has been a favorite anime all the way back when it premiered in 2019. Well season 2 has hit the airwaves now and it’s time we sat down and talked about what made Promised Neverland so good!

The second HBO Max original Adventure Time special Obsidian has aired and it’s all about show favorite Marceline and how she has grown over the ensuing years after the show. A blooming relationship with her former ex comes under fire as the Glass Kingdom is under attack. An event that will lead Marceline to retread the most painful betrayal from her past. Let’s check it out, cracks and all!

It’s a Hero Christmas Eve! This week we talk My Hero Academia movie 2: Heroes Rising. We watched it in the theatres back in January but thanks to the slow down of 2020 we never got a home release until October so finally we’re able to talk about it with everyone on the AD Podcast. So sit back and enjoy this heroic Christmas treat!

We’re BACK baby! After a holiday hiatus the AD Podcast returns and we’ve got a show favorite to talk about. The final season of Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts! This series has been heart warming through this stressful 2020 year and this last season is no exception as we see the conclusion to Kipo’s Megamute adventure!

We finally get to talk about The Simpsons! It’s Halloween and what better way to talk about Halloween that the titular adult animated holiday special, The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror series! We cover all the lovable parodies from the Shinning to the Twilight Zone episode gimmicks and just have a good time talking about classic Simpsons!
