Ankama has made a massive push for international exposure as of late with a launch of a new Krosmoz Youtube Channel and new international dub releases for their content. They are marching into the 3rd age of the world of Wakfu and they have put one of their most beautifully animated movies Julith (2016) up to watch completely for free on Youtube.
Wakfu Prequel Movie “Julith” Now on Youtube
Dofus is a French Animated series that acts as a prequel to Wakfu, taking place in the first age of the Wakfu story and the first version of the game all their animations are based on. The series stars a little guy name Joris and his adoptive father Kerubim, an old adventurer who is past his prime but loves to regail his tales to his son. The movie takes Joris on an adventure of his own with a villain tied to his uknown past and threatens to destroy everything he knows.

I won’t spoil much here as I’d prefer you go and watch the movie. It has already accumulated over 1 Million views on Youtube and rightfully so as the animation is a wonder example of traditional style animation matched perfectly with digital production. Ankama really brings their A-Game to this one and it’s worth every second of screen time.
Julith is a wonderfully interesting villainess as well which makes her titular status for the movie worth it. She is likely my second favorite villain from the Wakfu universe apart from Nox. Give this movie a watch!

With this push for more international eyes on their existing content be sure to keep an eye out for their third age projects that are also on the way such as Welsh & Shedar (project that was hinted at even before Julith had premiered) as well as Lance Dur and Betiale will likely be on the way for wider exposure.
Toon in to Ankama to make the most of this top-line studio’s great shows. I’ll be sure to start covering Wakfu on this channel as well as it’s something I’ve wanted to tackle since starting the Podcast.
