There were a lot more songs in Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel so instead of ranking every one of them like last season, we’ll just drop the top 10 of the season as many of them I don’t have much to talk about. So where we go starting from 10 and down, the top songs of Hazbin Hotel Season 2!
10. Easy
(Vocals by: Stephanie Beatriz and Erika Henningsen)
After a full season we finally get a duet from the main couple. Although this just squeaks into the top since a lot of it is more or less just a sexual innuendo. But it does highlight their cooperation and the problems they’ve been having over the seasons episodes so it gets the ten spot.
9. Once We Get Up There
(Vocals by: Christian Borle, Joel Perez, and Lilli Cooper)
One of MANY villain songs this season Once We Get Up There has the strength of Christian Borle doing the main vocals and the saucy vaudeville tone pops this one a little more up the chain but not by much. Still a solid, fun song.
8: Clean It Up!
(Vocals by: Kimiko Glenn and Erika Henningsen)
Kimiko Glenn finally getting a focused (I use this word loosely in this case) number about her obsessive cleaning and constant swearing was fun to see. The video elements being an insane hallucinated rant of the Hotels shortcomings got some good laughs and japanese verse, switching to silly anime chibi characters was a cherry on top.
7. Live To Live
(Vocals by: Alex Brightman and Patina Miller)
Alex Brightman really stepped up his performances with Pentious this season and this is just the first example. Patina Miller getting to have a few duets this season was a nice addition as well because her singing voice is beautiful. So this one gets a higher spot for the two wonderful performances bouncing off each other. But Brightman has a better Duet down the line of course.
6. Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us)
(Vocals by: Erika Henningsen, Christian Borle, Joel Perez, Lilli Cooper, Stephanie Beatriz, Kevin Del Aguila, Krystina Alabado, Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, and Amir Talai)
Just missing out the top five is the opening premise song of the season, quickly highlighting the dynamics between the good guys and bad guys with a switch-up song. The “Trust Us” portion really pulled this one up the list. The story told in V-Tower within the span of 30 seconds does a great job of showcasing exactly the core of their evil ploys and how that contrasts with the genuine nature of Charlie and her goals.
5. Love In A Bottle
(Vocals by: Keith David, Lilli Cooper, Kimiko Glenn, and Krystina Alabado)
This one got moved into the Top 5 after some stiff deliberation as I think after a few more times listening to it the tune is too catchy not to have in the top half as well as the voice work of Keith David who is always a treasure to listen to regardless of what he’s doing. It’s also just a solid showcase of the ups and downs that come with horrific addictions. Cheer’s to our number 5 spot.
4. Hear My Hope
(Vocals by: Full Cast)
The fact that Hear My Hope is Number 4 only speaks to the strength of the Top 3 honestly because this song is one of the best finale songs I’ve ever heard. It honestly could have been a SERIES finale song the way it went. But once again the highlight of the finale is in Alister’s bridge when he makes a deal with Rosie. Setting up a bunch of threats and schemes for Season 3. That’s a real 10 out of 10 focus. The Full Cast doing a “Feed the Children” style marathon song is also top tier. But not as top as the top three here.
3. Brighter
(Vocals by: Christian Borle)
In a season of Villain Songs we get the second best one with Chistian Borle performing BRIGHTER the origin song for Vox. High energy, fast paced and devilishly manipulative tones, Brighter is a treat from music to visuals. The flash of how he died melding into the demon he has become is awesome. The only critique I have is it could have been done with ONE more verse. The end verse with Vox ascending the staircase was too good to end off so quickly.
2. Piss (A Love Song)

We’re back to those duets again and I’d say this is the strongest Duet of the season. But not only that it totally changed my mind midway through the song. At this point in the show I wasn’t really up for a Sir Pentious love song. Nothing against Brightman but his singing work as Adam in the first season far outpaced his Pentious songs. But once Cherry Bomb started with her half of the song it became very obvious that we were getting a banger. And that is exactly what we got.
1. Gravity
(Vocals by: Jessica Vosk and Alex Brightman)
Which leaves us with the NUMBER ONE spot going to possibly the least consequential song plotwise (at least for the season) but the song that I consider, possibly, the best song in the entire series so far. Jessica Vosk pulls out an energy and anger for a spicy Villain Song with a modern POP metal, rock opera rush that sets up a bad girl’s motivation so well I was waiting for her to send us into season 3 on a cliffhanger. Sadly we didn’t come out by the end BUT it does get me excited for Lute’s role in Season 3. She definitely is not done and this song will tell you that she won’t be done until she succeeds or falls. Truly a top tier villain song for the times. Ten out of ten.
